On Thursday, 28 August 2024, Mr. Syafik, Counsellor of the High Commission attended as a Special Guest at the 92nd meeting of the Federal of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce Industry (FPCCI), Federal Capital (ICT) Standing Committee on Corporate and Multinational Companies Affairs, Islamabad.
The meeting was convened by Mr. Shafiq Khan Sawati, Convener of FPCCI, Federal Capital standing committee on Corporate and Multinational company affairs. The event was also attended by Mr. Malik Sohail Hussain, Chairman of Coordination FPCCI as a Guest of Honour along with Mr. Muhammad Tariq Jadoon Vice President of FPCCI, Mr. Karim Aziz Malik Chairman of Capital Office FPCC, and other members of the committee.
During the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral relations between Malaysia and Pakistan, including promoting and facilitating corporate and multinational companies in Pakistan, fostering collaboration between businesses and government, and supporting economic growth and development in Pakistan. Both sides also addressed the challenges faced by the corporate sector in Pakistan. Mr. Syafik ensured full cooperation to enhance Malaysia-Pakistan bilateral relations to greater heights.
At the end of the event, Mr. Shafiq Khan Sawati presented the shield to Mr. Syafik. The meeting was held in a cordial manner, fostering an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual understanding.
