His Excellency Mr. Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met on, Thursday, March 7, 2024, with HerExcellency Ms. Mélanie Jolie, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development of friendly Canada, on the occasion of her official visit and the accompanying delegation to the State of Kuwait, where the meeting discussed all aspects of the close relations that bind The two friendly countries and the frameworks for strengthening and developing them at various levels, and discussing the various areas of bilateral cooperation between the two friends, in addition to discussing aspects of intensifying joint coordination between the two sides regarding regional and international issues, and the developments taking place in the region, most notably the developments in the Palestinian issue and the aggression against the Gaza Strip, and discussing everything that would To strengthen the foundations of international peace and security, and undertake joint work towards preserving international order and consecrating and preserving the values and principles of international law. For her part, the Canadian Foreign Minister expressed her country’s pride in the level of close cooperation between the State of Kuwait and Canada at all levels and her aspiration to continue the pattern of this existing cooperation between the two friendly countries and advance it to broader horizons and more comprehensive dimensions.
