The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the religious attaché at the Saudi embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, launched the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Gift Programs for Distributing Dates and Iftar Meals during the holy month of Ramadan 1445 AH, in the capital, Skopje, North Macedonia.
The event was held in attendance of the Saudi Ambassador to Albania, Faisal bin Ghazi Hefzi, and the Mufti of North Macedonia, Shaker Fattaho.
Five tons of dates have been gifted, targeting nearly 32,000 beneficiaries.
The Saudi ambassador to Albania said that launching the two programs in North Macedonia reveals the depth and strength of ties with the Kingdom of Saud Arabia and represents an extension of the Kingdom’s continued benefaction to people around the world, stressing the Saudi government’s keenness to care for the needs of Muslims in Ramadan and provide relief for those in need.
